SG World response:Many schools and educational institutions have similar problems in organising the volume of people visiting their premises. It can be a logistical nightmare for staff, visitors and for security reasons. We hear all sorts of stories from lost items, such as laptops, to people getting lost on the premises and others not turning up to the right place at the right time. Our safe-pass system would be an ideal solution for schools. The software is easy to install and allows for multiple users/licenses so you can pre-book and re-book visitors; saving you time and sharing responsibility with other members of staff if you wish. The system comes complete with printer and camera so you can take a quality picture at the touch of a button and print a badge out immediately for your visitor. Information can be printed on paper badges or we now offer a tattoo re-writer printer, which prints plastic cards that can be re-used, saving paper and the cost of buying multiple plastic cards when there is a high turn over in trainees. There is also a misconception about the cost of such software systems and the facility to install them with other integrated systems, but it’s a lot easier than you think and more cost effective over time with the benefit of being more organised which in itself saves time and money. In addition to this our safe-room software sits comfortably with safe-pass and would allow you to control all meeting/classrooms for training purposes. The software covers room bookings, time; equipment needed and automated email to attendees.
